In one of this famous renown articles the
"Why i Marched to Parliament"
A protest in Kampala, As a law student who had enrolled at university in 2023, it was his first time putting classroom lessons on constitutionalism and civic duty into action on the streets.

The march was organized by youth activists, civil society groups, and concerned citizens. The plan was simple: a peaceful walk to present a petition at Parliament regarding corruption and accountability.
Mukalazi and colleagues gathered in small groups across Kampala and tried to move towards Parliament Avenue. The protest was largely led by young people, students, graduates, boda riders, and first-time voters. Many carried placards with messages about transparency and the cost of living.

Security forces were deployed heavily along major roads. Roads were blocked, and several participants were arrested before reaching Parliament. Despite that, the energy was about citizens exercising Article 29 of the Constitution the right to assemble and petition.

Legal Education

Pursuing a Bachelor of Laws while engaging critically in the Law Society's initiatives.


Mukalazi became a Minister of Clubs right from his Year one which introduced him to multiple leaders. He has also been a strong advocate in the Human Rights Activism by providing legal aid to political prisons, carrying out charity to such victims in various prisons of the country and as well fueling the standardized respect of the Rule of Law System in Uganda

Student Leadership

Currently serving as Vice President of COSA and a leader in the Nkumba University Law School.

Mukalazi started his active leadership progress in 2022, at the time when he had just enrolled in Commune High School Kitende where he expressed his interest to run for the President's seat, he won with the majority votes as he was unopposed, he completed his tenure and joined Nkumba University where he became a Minister of Clubs in the 20th Government of the law School. He was appointed as the Vice President Commune Old Students' Association in 2024.
With faith, Mukalazi is a Born Again, however he was appointed as a Youth Leader in St. Stevens Church along Nakawuka Road

Makana Kennedy Ndyamuhaki (also known as Precious) is a prominent Ugandan journalist, youth activist, and social justice advocate known for his active role in anti-corruption movements and media storytelling.He gained significant national and international attention as a core voice of the youth-led Gen Z protests targeting parliamentary corruption in Uganda.

Agather Atuhaire

Agather Atuhaire (Uganda): A leading legal activist and independent journalist known for exposing institutional corruption and human rights abuses within the Ugandan government. Her continuous whistleblowing has made her a central figure for transparency, despite facing state intimidation and detention.

Vanessa Nakate

Vanessa Nakate is one of the most prominent youth climate and environmental activists in East Africa. Born in Uganda, she is the founder of the Rise Up Movement and Youth for Future Africa, and has been a leading voice calling for global attention to the climate crisis in the Global South. For more than six years, Nakate has championed causes ranging from protesting for climate justice to campaigning to save the Congo rainforest and advocating for renewable energy in Ugandan schools. Her advocacy centers on how developing nations, which are responsible for a fraction of global emissions, bear the brunt of extreme weather and ecological degradation. She has brought these issues to the world stage, speaking at the UN Climate Change Conferences (COP) and the World Economic Forum in Davos
